23. Edgy Bob with Razored Ends. This layered bob is so delicate and soft that wearing it is a mere pleasure! The coif looks absolutely astonishing with the razored tips, adding volume and movement to your locks.
24. Edgy Mullet Crop. This short variation leans to the mullet that gives it an edgier finish. If you feel confident enough to rock this hairdo, ask your stylist to do choppy layers from front to back.
25. Texture Makeover for Medium Length. This crop is one of the desired coifs that require minimum maintenance. Plus, such a “cuteness overload” can make your hair look more voluminous. The hairstylist removes the weight from the top with a razor. The healthier underneath strands have more movement. Easy!
26. Auburn Wolf with Short Bangs. This picture proves that wolf styles chime well with different types of bangs, as this short piece-y fringe accentuates the bone structure while the razored layers enhance movement in the locks.
27. Dark Blonde Piece-y Lob. Let the world know you’re ready for summer and rock a blonde shoulder-length lob with highlights.
28. Long Feathered Shullet for Fine Hair. Here, layering derives max volume from the fine tresses, while the choppy fringe serves to add fullness in the front. And, of course, the built-in messiness of the texture allows for wash-and-go styling.

47. Long Layered Mane Makeover. For an easy-going style that showcases your long locks, choose shape-building layers. These adjust to any face shape and deliver a great look for any season.
48. Piece-y Shoulder-Length Coif with Bottleneck Bangs. A bottleneck fringe that starts right above the eyebrows and gets longer to hug the cheekbones is the new black nowadays, and, as we can see, it works fine for layered styles created on thick straight tresses.
49. Mid-Length Choppy Straight Hair. Textured layers for women can easily turn flat straight hair into a bushy mane by creating lift at the crown with short pieces, adding fullness to the front with deep bangs, and keeping the body around the ends with a blunt finish.
50. Sliced Straight Midi. Embrace your straight strands giving them some flattering slicing to avoid a limp look.
When considering your next look, remember there are so many ways you can play up your length and texture. From messy and curly to pin-straight with bangs, messy styles deliver versatile looks with great potential.
I have a haircut, one of your shag haircut style
I am very please, it’s turned out beautifully
I was told that those styles are only for young girls, but I insist to have it done anyway. the guy that said and cut it was surprise after he did it. I am a 80 yrs old woman.
Good for you!! I too have a shag and have for at least 20 years but mine is more spiky at the top and bangs. Crazy short forehead. 80 is still young and I am a bit younger at 60. Since I am seeing more gray hairs and my hair is almost black, I’m going midnight blue for one maybe last hair color fling. Keep rocking it!!
I remember blow drying my shag and having the feathery layers lie flat on sides of my head. Was a good look.
